(i) What is the lowest score the child got?
(a) -3
(b) -2
(c) 0
(d) 6
Ans. Option (a) is correct.
Explanation: -3 is the smallest integer in the given set of scores.

(ii) What is the difference between the highest and the lowest score?
(a) 4
(b) -4
(c) -10
(d) 10
Ans. Option (d) is correct.
Explanation: The highest score is 7 , the lowest score is -3 .
Difference =7 – (-3) =7 + 3 = 10

(iii) Which integer lies to the extreme left on the number line?
(a) -2
(b) 0
(c) -3
(d) 7
Ans. Option (c) is correct.
Explanation:


-3 lies to the extreme left.
(iv) Find the sum of -3, +7, 0, -2, 6.
Sol. -4

(v) Write the predecessor of positive number and successor of negative number of -3, +7, -2, 6.
Sol. Predecessor of 7 = 6
Predecessor of 6 = 5
Successor of -3 = -2
Successor of -2 = -1
