(d) The Assertion is correct but the Reason is incorrect.

Q1. Assertion (A): Different communities are treated equally under the Indian Constitution.

Reason (R): India is a country with many different cultural communities, hence it is necessary to make community-based rights mandatory.

Ans. (b) Both the Assertion and the Reason are correct but the Reason is not the correct explanation of the Assertion.

Q2. Assertion (A): The “Peace Constitution” is the name given to the Japanese constitution.

Reason (R): The concept of peace serves as the foundation of the Japanese constitution.

Ans. (a) Both the Assertion and the Reason are correct and the Reason is the correct explanation of the Assertion.

Q3. Assertion (A): Social justice and liberalism are inextricably connected.
